- Written spec sheet: fixture model, beam angle, wattage, color temperature per position
- Circuit layout and transformer sizing recommendation
- Budget estimate with fixture-level cost breakdown
- Priority phasing plan if you want to build the system in stages over time
How the consultation works
- Schedule an evening walkthrough
We schedule around sunset so Jorge can assess the property in the actual lighting conditions that matter. Daytime visits can't reveal how natural light fails at dusk or where dark zones create safety or aesthetic problems after hours.
- Walk the property together
Jorge walks the perimeter and interior zones with you, discussing what you want to accomplish — curb appeal, safety, entertainment areas, focal features — and explaining how different placement and fixture decisions will achieve or compromise those goals.
- Free nighttime demo at your focal points
Jorge sets up working demo fixtures at the key focal points on your property — a palm, the front facade, a garden feature — so you can see the actual light output at night. You'll compare warm (2700K) versus natural white (3000K), see how uplighting versus moonlighting feels on your specific surfaces, and confirm which focal points matter most before anything gets spec'd or ordered.
- Receive your written spec
Within 3–5 business days of the walkthrough, you receive a complete written spec sheet and scaled layout diagram. You can take it to any installer or use it to proceed with Bright Arbor. The spec is yours regardless of next steps.
Jorge has designed lighting systems across Casselberry, Longwood, Lake Mary, Winter Park, and greater Seminole and Orange County for over a decade. Is the consultation free?
The initial estimate walkthrough — including the nighttime demo — is free and carries no obligation. If you choose to proceed to a full design spec with scaled drawings and written fixture-by-fixture callouts, a design fee applies that is credited toward installation if you book with Bright Arbor. We'll be clear about what's included at no cost and what the design deliverables require before you commit.
Can I use the spec sheet with a different installer?
Yes. The written spec belongs to you. If you receive a better installation quote from another contractor and want to use our design, that's your choice. We'd rather you go into any installation with a solid plan than proceed without one.
How far in advance should I book a consultation?
For most of the Orlando metro area, we can typically schedule within 1–2 weeks. Fall and spring are the busiest seasons as homeowners prepare for outdoor entertaining. If you're working toward a specific event or deadline, let us know when you reach out and we'll prioritize accordingly.
