Outdoor Dining Ambiance Lighting
The difference between a pleasant outdoor dinner and an uncomfortable one often comes down to lighting. Too bright feels institutional. Too dim is frustrating. Glare at eye level kills the mood entirely. Good dining lighting gets all three right.

What's Included
- Overhead warm ambient for dining table zone
- Perimeter accent at seating height
- Glare-managed directional overhead
- Candle-accent level perimeter wash
- Dimmable zone control for scene flexibility
- Bug-management color temperature selection
What It Costs
Includes all fixtures, cable, and installation. Smart scene control: $150–$350 add-on.
How It Works
- Dining use interview — how many guests, how often you entertain, whether children are frequent diners, and how the space connects to the indoor kitchen all affect the design.
- Layer planning — overhead ambient sets the base level. Perimeter accent softens the edges. Supplemental table-level lighting (string overhead, post lighting) fills in the middle layer.
- Dusk aiming and brightness calibration — we set dimmer levels for different scenarios and run through the scene presets with you before finishing.
Built for Florida Outdoor Dining
Two Florida-specific factors matter a lot for outdoor dining lighting. First, color temperature: warmer 2700K light attracts significantly fewer insects than cooler 3000K or 4000K, which matters when dining outdoors from October through May. Second, screen enclosures affect how light behaves — inside an enclosure, light reflects differently from the aluminum frame and screen mesh than it does in open air, and fixture placement needs to account for that.
Why Choose Bright Arbor
We know the local conditions, plant palette, and municipal codes. That experience shows in every install.
Every fixture aimed after dark so you see exactly what you are getting before we finish. No surprises.
Brass and composite housings rated for Florida's UV and humidity. Built to last 15–20 years, not 3–5.
We stand behind every install. If something is not right in the first year, we come back and fix it.
