LED Landscape Lighting Fixture Upgrade

Even if your system is already LED, first-generation LED fixtures from five or more years ago lack the optical precision, color accuracy, and durability of current-generation units. Bright Arbor upgrades older LED fixtures across Central Florida with modern replacements that deliver tighter beam control, better color rendering, and significantly longer rated lifespans.

Signs Your LED Fixtures Are Ready for an Upgrade

  • Output noticeably dimmer than when first installed (LED lumen degradation)
  • Color has shifted from warm white to a yellow or green tint
  • Fixtures are no longer watertight after UV-degraded housing seals fail
  • Beam spread is too wide or too narrow for your current landscape design
  • You want to add color-changing or smart control capability

What We Look for in a Replacement Fixture

We select upgrade fixtures based on CRI (color rendering index) of 90 or above for natural-looking illumination, optical precision that matches your design intent, IP65 or better waterproof rating, and housing materials suitable for Florida's UV exposure and humidity. Every upgrade includes proper connector waterproofing and a voltage check after installation.

Central Florida Note

Florida's UV index accelerates the degradation of plastic housing components and lens covers on older LED fixtures faster than ratings suggest. Fixtures installed five or more years ago in full-sun locations often have cracked or yellowed lenses that cut actual light output by 30 to 40 percent even if the LED module itself still functions. Upgrading to brass or cast-aluminum housings with glass lenses eliminates this failure mode entirely.
