Landscape Lighting System Diagnostic
When fixtures go dark or zones stop responding, guesswork wastes money. Bright Arbor performs a methodical system diagnostic before any repair, so we fix the actual problem the first time. Our technicians test voltage at every point in the circuit and document findings before touching a single wire.
What Our Diagnostic Covers
We test each component in sequence, from the transformer output through every zone run, all the way to individual fixtures. This zone-by-zone isolation lets us pinpoint the exact failure point rather than replacing parts until something works.
- Transformer output voltage and wattage load check
- Zone-by-zone voltage drop measurement at fixture connectors
- Visual inspection of all fixtures, lenses, and mounting stakes
- Timer and photocell function test
- Wire splice and connector corrosion inspection
You Receive a Full Written Report
After the diagnostic we provide a written summary of every finding and a prioritized repair estimate. You decide what to fix and when. There are no surprises on the invoice because we document everything upfront.
Salt air from the coast accelerates corrosion on wire connectors and terminal blocks, and UV exposure in Florida degrades wire jacket insulation faster than in northern climates. Systems older than five years often have multiple corroded splice points that cause intermittent failures. Our diagnostic specifically checks these high-failure areas common to Central Florida installations.
