Works with Your Existing System
In most cases, a smart controller installation uses your existing zone wiring without any re-running or excavation. We assess the transformer housing, determine whether the existing enclosure can accommodate the new controller, and proceed from there. If a full transformer replacement is needed due to capacity or enclosure constraints, the zone wiring still carries over and the process remains contained to a single visit.
Smart controllers with astronomical clock capabilities and cloud schedule storage are especially practical in Florida, where sunset variation is significant and summer storm power interruptions are frequent. Both problems — seasonal drift and post-outage reprogramming — are eliminated in a single installation visit.
