- Evening walkthrough and design
We walk the property at dusk to see exactly how the light falls. Fixture positions, beam angles, and circuit layouts are marked before any digging begins.
- Transformer and circuit planning
We calculate total wattage, plan circuit zones by run length, and select transformer tap settings to maintain 10.8–12V at every fixture across each zone.
- Cable burial and fixture mounting
Cables are trenched to proper depth, routed around irrigation infrastructure, and connected with gel-filled waterproof splice connectors. Fixtures are staked, mounted, or recessed per design.
- Aiming, voltage check, and timer setup
Every fixture is aimed at dusk by eye. We measure voltage at each fixture, program the timer and photocell, and walk the completed system with you before we leave.
