Café & String Lights for Outdoor Patios
Done right, string lights are one of the most effective outdoor lighting approaches there is. Done wrong — with bargain-store cable and cheap bulbs — they fail in one Florida summer. We install commercial-grade systems built to last in Central Florida's UV and storm environment.
One operator. Same person designs, installs, and maintains your system. Not a subcontractor.
Custom design. Every plan is sketched on-site for your specific property.
Clean installs. Buried cable, hidden transformers, no exposed wiring.

What It Costs
Pricing includes commercial-grade string lights, mounting hardware, and installation. Smart dimmer integration: $150–$350 add-on.
How It Works
- Layout planning — we map the span distances, attachment points, and catenary angles so the lights hang correctly without sagging or pulling under Florida wind.
- Structural review — pergola beams, house eaves, and freestanding posts all have different load requirements. We assess and reinforce attachment points if needed before installation.
- Electrical connection and smart setup — we connect to a dedicated circuit or low-voltage outlet and configure smart dimming if requested.
Built for Florida's Outdoor Environment
Florida's combination of intense UV radiation, high humidity, and frequent thunderstorms is genuinely harsh on string light systems. Standard hardware-store wire loses insulation flexibility within 2–3 seasons in full Florida sun. IP65 globe ratings matter because afternoon storms are daily events from June through September. We also think carefully about catenary tension and anchor points because the wind that precedes a Florida storm can be enough to pull poorly anchored spans loose.
Why Choose Bright Arbor
We know the local conditions, plant palette, and municipal codes. That experience shows in every install.
Every fixture aimed after dark so you see exactly what you are getting before we finish. No surprises.
Brass and composite housings rated for Florida's UV and humidity. Built to last 15–20 years, not 3–5.
We stand behind every install. If something is not right in the first year, we come back and fix it.
