Where Color Fixtures Fit into a Design
Color-changing fixtures work best when used selectively. We typically place them at focal points — the front of the home, a large tree, a pool perimeter, or an entertainment area — while keeping the rest of the system in warm white. This gives you flexibility for special occasions without making the everyday look feel garish.
Color-changing systems connect via Bluetooth or WiFi. Bluetooth works reliably within range of the controller — no network required. For WiFi control from anywhere, a strong wireless signal needs to reach the transformer location, or an ethernet cable can be run to the controller. We assess signal coverage during the design walkthrough and recommend the right setup for your property.
