Jorge Giraldo
Owner of Bright Arbor Outdoor Lighting in Casselberry, Florida. Jorge designs, installs and maintains every low voltage landscape lighting system the company puts in, and he writes the articles on this site.
What Jorge Does on Every Project
The person you call is the person who shows up. Jorge walks your property at dusk, sketches the plan, runs the cable, mounts the fixtures, aims every beam after dark, and comes back when the system needs service. There is no dispatch center, no crew you have not met, and no subcontractor.
That is how Bright Arbor Outdoor Lighting is built, on purpose, because it is the only way one standard can hold from the first walkthrough to the last service call.
Experience and Specialty
Jorge has spent more than a decade working in low voltage electrical and landscape lighting across Central Florida. He works exclusively with 12 volt low voltage systems. They are safer in Florida's daily rain, they run cooler in the summer heat, they use a fraction of the energy of line voltage systems, and done right they produce a warmer, more controllable light than 120 volt fixtures.
His work covers lighting design, installation, repair and maintenance, LED retrofits of older systems, smart control, and outdoor living spaces such as pool decks, patios and docks.
How Jorge Works
- Evening walkthrough. The first visit happens as the light fades, because that is when a property shows what needs lighting and what does not.
- Written design. Fixture positions, beam angles and zones are planned on paper before anything is ordered.
- Clean installation. Cable is direct buried, transformers are concealed and weather rated, and connections are sealed against moisture.
- Aimed after dark. Every fixture is aimed by hand at night, in the conditions the system will run in for years.
- Ongoing service. Seasonal tune ups, timer adjustments and repairs come back to the same person who installed the system.
Built for Central Florida Weather
UV exposure, afternoon downpours, humidity and heat decide what lasts here. Jorge specifies solid brass and copper for the exposed positions on a property, the tree uplights, path lights and bed fixtures that take the full weight of the climate, seals every connection against moisture, and buries cable deep enough to survive irrigation work and lawn equipment.

What Customers Say About Working With Jorge
Really impressed with Bright Arbor. The design was thoughtful and made our home and landscaping look incredible at night while still feeling natural and not overly bright. Andrew and Jorge were professional, on time, and the installation was very clean. It completely elevated the look of our property.
Thank you Jorge and Andrew for the beautiful work on my property. The finished project looks amazing. I really appreciate the way you took time to explain everything and walk me through the process. I never would have imagined this result myself. Also if you are concerned about pricing, they were very reasonable compared to other local businesses.
Jorge did the landscape lighting around our house and we are very happy with the results. We love seeing our house at night since we had the outdoor lighting installed. Jorge really knows a lot about the products on the market and advised us on picking quality lights that would last. He treated our home like it were his and left everything clean when he was done. Highly recommend Bright Arbor Outdoor Lighting.
